When you add in the extras soldiers get, such as subsidised housing, I'm sure most soldiers get paid more than most traffic wardens.
Interesting, now divide any member of the forces daily rate of pay by 24 and compare that to a Traffic Wardens hourly rate on an 8 hour shift. (Of course, TW works past his 8 hours, he gets overtime)
I think you're confusing the French Army with the British ArmyMost people in the army do sweet FA all day every day of their career
The French army run far quicker than the Brits
How many people in the army 'work' 24 hours a day?
When they're away they get paid extra anyway.
I'm not saying I think they're well paid, just that the comparison is not comparing like with like.
People who go into the army know what they're doing, and what they're going to get paid. There are plenty of people who get paid less.
Most people in the army do sweet FA all day every day of their career.
Did you see how many people actually wanted to get out when we entered into a war?
Maybe you should divide the soldiers pay by number of enemy killed and TWardens by number of tickets given.
I'm sure being a traffic warden is a more dangerous job than being a soldier.
