I would have satisfied with a point before the game.

I would have snapped your hand off at half time.

At full time I was frustrated by the sloppy last 10 minutes, but on reflection...

Most of the players we finished with don't have the ability to unlock defenses or were tired. Gray was our one hope to create something, and looked eager but there wasn't much movement around him.

Ricardo and Chilwell are usually our driving force going forward and Madison is our lock Smith, so to be without all 3 is devastating, so a point is a good result.

Honestly?!?!? Him and Barnes are part of the problem he has hardly been one of our best players far from it !

I agree with pop, I think Perez has been great since the restart. He's such a clever player as well, in terms of his passing and movement. He generally looks to play it forward and with his more fluid role now, he links the midfield, forwards and wide players really well. I've really enjoyed watching him the past few games.

Barnes can look terrible, but you can't argue with his productivity. His assist stats are pretty good.

both Barnes and Perez suffer the same problem, they are doing a job out wide but really they are central players

Aye. Perez picks up spaces, he’s always moving and has a lovely touch. People have said it before but it’s a similar role to the one Okazaki played for us. He’s done more since the restart than Maddison has since Christmas. I bet his teammates love him. Considering he came from a pub team and is still adjusting I think he’ll be wonderful next season.

I feel that Ihenacho's 'goal' should have stood. Arsenal cynical as usual. A decent point but wish we had gone for it a bit more in the last 15 minutes.

Getting twitchy on a couple of my bets.

Top four finish 16/1 (£10 stake). Being offered £70 to cash out.

Vardy top scorer 17/1 (£10 stake). Being offered £80 to cash out.

Any thoughts?

I can’t see us finishing top four. Just don’t think we’ll get anything against Man U and they will win every game.

But I’m still convinced Spurs are going to catch us up and beat us to the title.

To be fair:

4 goals, 3 from Vards, a clean sheet, first point at Arsenal since 1995, a win against a palace side that usually dick us and 4 points last two games. Plenty to draw from and some reason for optimism.

With completely blue tints on: we were seconds away from 3 points at Watford, had a great shout for a penalty against Brighton and a dodgy penalty go the other way against Everton. I don’t agree with all of it (I still think we are playing shit and Rodgers has made some baffling decisions) but there’s enough to hold onto.

Bournemouth will be desperate. They should be wide open looking for a win. Could play into our hands big time. A convincing win and performance will go a long way.

That all said...not a ****ing chance we get a good result against Man U. I hope we don’t need it.
