But why even give them the slightest chance:102: There is enough time left in the game for England to put the Aussies completely out of it, and still have ample time to bowl them out.
If it was the other way round, i'm sure the Aussies would be ruthless.

In a word, BB - rain.

I quite understand where Strauss is coming from re. a) the follow-on and b) the monster lead. However, I guess the Aussies will have been pleased that the follow on wasn't enforced because eventually it will be in their own hands to try to bat out time. Secondly, I just feel that these days captains are generally erring towards the over-cautious in making these declarations.

In my opinion, England should declare now and take the full two days(weather/ light permitting).

I reckon they could get these runs tomorrow :icon_conf

It wouldnt be the ashes if we had strolled it today. It will no doubt go down to the last wicket and few runs as always. :icon_lol:

If England get an early wicket and they could all tumble. However, if the aussies manage to hold out for the first hour then you would have to fancy them.

I was glad to get off tbh, I couldn't see us getting a wicket tonight. The ball's still new and the batsmen have to start again tomorrow, we'll have to hope that we get a wicket first thing and expose the tail.

I wasn't entirely with the 525 declaration btw, I would have liked us to bat them completely out of the game.

Need i say more:102:

You never give a side like Australia a chance.

This could be the most embarrassing defeat ever imo. Lets hope our bowlers are up to the task tomorrow.
