Buonanotte back on the bench is unforgivable. Sack him now.

And Rudkin. And the whole ****ing lot of them.

Ayew offers more defensively and will get us up the pitch. Mavididi, Bonnie and El K all playing is lunacy.

That might vaguely make sense against certain types of opponent.

This is Villa though. How they play is incredibly predictable and having Ayew as a wide defender makes absolutely no sense against a high line and heavily strong central midfield.

meh... IMO Kristiansen is shit anyway. Luke Thomas is no better hence the meh. LB should be our number one priority in the transfer window. Ayew over Buonanotte is a bit baffling though. In his time so far he is clearly best used an impact sub.

Ayew isnt good defensively at all - what the **** are you wibbling on about

Multiple examples this season of him leaving Justin marking two players on his own as he jogs back miles behind the play

And Justin is ****ing awful marking one player FFS

Not sure playing two players out of position is a great idea…

Let’s be honest none of it is great, but we are where we are
Does he?

Ayew has been ****ing dreadful for the majority of his time with us and the only thing he has offered is the odd goal as an impact sub (which, admittedly, is more than I thought he would). I would argue that he's no better than Buonanotte in his defensive work and certainly much, much worse in terms of getting us playing further up and creating things.

It's madness I tells ya.

Yep, I was about to post this. I had mistakenly thought this was why he was often being picked, but he’s not a good defender at all, once you see him in action. Baffling.

Arrived at Villa Park.

With that team it's obvious that Youri will be playing through balls beyond the defence for Watkins to run onto. I'm predicting a Watkins hatrick

Villa have Tyrone Mings and Matty Cash instead of Pau Torres and Diego Carlos.

That could give us a chance?

I'm taking my nieces to the cinema so will only see the score at full time - here's hoping for a nice surprise.
Tell us the film and we will tell you the ending.

It's 2025 and we're playing the following back four away to a team doing well in the Champions League:

James Justin
Conor Coady
Jannik Vestergaard
Luke Thomas

Put your mortgage on a home win.
When you put it like that it makes a lot of sense.

There’s no one available who takes Justin’s place. No one available to play in place of Thomas either. Neither can do the basics.

Vestergaard is good on the ball, but very slow off it.

Coady is very dissapointing as a player. Touted as a ‘leader’, but I don’t see it.

We are simply preparing for next season in the championship. This window should be about shifting out shit and buying in young hungry players with potential.

Top, you've royally ****ed it up.
He really has. Trusts completely the wrong people. Top you can’t develop a club by relying on people who care only about their own position at the club.

What would happen if Justin got injured? He's the only player for that position, it seems.
