My credit file could not be any worse so that part doesn't worry me.I'm moving to a different part of the country.I shall just say I want a new account because i'm starting a new job and i'm now single etc

You may be asked to list addresses that you have lived at in the past 10 years.

I don't think there is an easy answer to this one.

My offer still stands. :)

To open a Card Account at Nationwide (Card Account is their Basic Bank Account), you must not already have one of their current accounts. No mention of current accounts at other banks.

Might be worth a try. See: http://www.nationwide.co.uk/current_account/managing_your_account/cash_card_account.htm

I shall have a look Boc.I have spoke to a few people in the know and they seem to think it won't be too difficult just to open a normal Bank Account. If i wanted an Overdraft they would start to dig but not just a plain account

Where you moving to HF, back to Lpool?

Not totally sure, wherever the work is.My girlfriend lives near Accrington so I will be spending a lot of time there but I also want a place of my own even if it's just lodging. It will be in the North west though
