Do you need another genius to have a go? :icon_bigg
Do you think you can do better then?
I'll be amazed if you can even get close.
If he does, are you going to throw him a peanut?

One way cheaper would be to drive :icon_bigg
How much do you think it costs to drive 750 miles?
Depends the size of your engine?
200 miles possibly £20-£25
I would say around £80ish which is cheaper.
Are you just counting the cost of petrol?
Why didnt you plan this earlier then you could have got much cheaper tickets.
I wasn't originally planning to go to the match.
I bought the Barnsley ticket on impulse, immediately after the Colchester match.
The only other way i have found is if you brought a Railcard for £24 that would give you a 1/3 off and then the total journey price would be £84.

What railcard will Jeff buy ?? :icon_conf
Depends what age he is
i refer to the train group saver offer mentioned on the first page...
i rang up east mids trains today and they told me that the group saver offer does not run on the trains specified..
Can anybody clarify this? has anyone bought group saver tickets yet?

As far as I am aware only FGW (First Great Western) restrict the use of GroupSave tickets on certain trains.
There's an EMT restriction listed at http://www.nationalrail.co.uk/times_fares/groupsave_calendar.html due to a football match.
