It's the best coverage that the lower divisions has ever had.

Big League weekend 2 is far better in terms of analysis and time spent on the lower leagues

Oh yeah, show the odd goal or two and then get half an hour of mundane analysis and interviews, repeating the same moronic cliches over and over again.

Its a football highlights show, I wanna actually see the football, ffs! Not see two clueless feckers who have failed at management sit round a table and tell me what to think. If i wanted to know other peoples opinions on a certain game, id watch Chinny Hills Soccer Supplement or read the sports section in a newspaper or visit an online forum or listen to a radio phone-in, its all people repeating the same thing over and over anyways, and it shouldnt waste time on a highlights programme.

Which is why the Championship is a fantastic programme, no analysis, dont mind the odd 1 or 2 mins intro to a match, but other than that its all football highlights! Its exactly how these programmes should be done, even preferable to MOTD for me, especially when Shearer is on it.
