Theres not really enough. Those in the lower half of the championship seem to give up when they realize that they are going to miss promotion.
I havent ruled it out but there would need to be more posting every week to make it worth bothering with

Surely this means it makes sense to have a League 1- as it means more people will be promoted from somewhere, they are more likely to continue playing?

Its not that simple. Posters such as Joe fox and Bocadillo decided not to continue after being involved for a while, if that happens it could throw a middle division into chaos regarding promotion and relegation issues.
Anyway it would involve alot more work for me:icon_roll :icon_wink
