Don't think BB would claim the idea is his. There have been several LCFC prediction competitions run online for 8-9 years that I know of, including some I've run myself.

It wasn't my idea. Someone on here ran the same thing about 2 years ago, which i enjoyed and decided to continue after the previous poster seemed to lose interest and it fizzled out.

I'm looking forward to my first full campaign. I reckon I could well acheive mid table if I'm lucky....
BB, just a thought but, with all the extra players there are now, have you considered splitting the Championship into two or maybe three divisions? It would give everyone some interest in the promotion/relegation stakes (in the same way that playoffs do in the real league). I joined in half way through last time and, whilst I enjoyed it, there was never any chance of me being involved in any promotion/relegation issues at all. The same will apply to the bottom 30 or so if there is one big Championship league next time around...
(of course, if this means an inordinate amount of extra work for you, then forget it)

Over 50 posters had a go at some point in the last series, but towards the end about 10-15 in the mid-lower reaches of the championship stopped having ago. Had they continued to the end, or if the lge gained in popularity it might be worth thinking about. I shall see how the next series prevails, if the championship became too big there could be a 3rd division, so those who struggle this time had better beware of a drop into the ' conference' :icon_wink
