Unless someone is confined to a hospital ward or a morgue being off ill is a bit limp really.

Not really. I got the shits sometime last year and it was a serious couple of days. I could not lift my leg without fear of spoiling myself and I, and my work colleagues, would have hated me to be in the office.

After a couple of minor accidents, on the second day I decided to play safe and have a marathon session on the throne, just to be safe. I took in two magazines and a newspaper and set about having a complete clear out (this was before Macky's discovery of herbal colonic clearance pills). I was on there for two and a half hours and when I finally risked standing up it felt like I was turning inside out. I had another couple of days off after that.

That is the first time I have been able to speak of the incident Homer, it was traumatic. I have terrible luck with toilets, a few weeks later I dropped my ipod down the same pan and managed to piss on myself.

Just spoke to acas. They do have to give me a weeks notice unless i was dissmissed for grossmisconduct which i wasn't. Not only that i have a better paid job already...so them wankers can go **** themselves
