Skysports.com understands Norwich are winning the race to sign Luton midfielder David Bell.

Bell looks set to leave Luton as the club are being forced to offload most of their players because of the financial problems at Kenilworth Road.

The 24-year-old impressed during Luton FA Cup's run last season including an eye-catching display against Liverpool.

Bell spent the last two months of the season on loan at Leicester and the versatile midfielder shone at the Walkers Stadium despite their relegation.

The midfielder's performances have alerted a number of clubs and Norwich, along with Coventry and Leicester, have all expressed an interest in signing him.

However, Norwich are believed to have stolen a march on their rivals by offering Bell a lucrative three-year deal to make the move to Carrow Road.

bound to happen, Luton still need money so i think it will still go through unles another champ team comes in for him. Could just be lazy journalism

Sky sports report coventry and norwich also want him, I think hes lost to be honest. I said a few weeks back when someone claimed the deal is as good as done that it wasnt because nothing was signed.
