Whilst neither Kasper or Ben Hamer have covered themselves with glory, I still think that, had we brought in a couple of decent centre backs, things would be very different.

It was worse with the Lampard goal......he didn´t even stick his arm out and basically that´s all he had to do to save it.

There was a cross he came for nearer the edge of the area that he punched well clear. That sort of successful decision making gives defenders confidence.
