Blackpool's 11th win in a row.

We missed far too many chances.

Did anybody say "Allen out" yet?

:(

The curse continues. Hopefully not for too long.

Onto Accrington then..

On the plus side, there's 45 games to go, we still have Kaebi, Cort and Kisnorbo to come in and DJ still to reach full fitness, and Birmingham, Sunderland and Derby all got off to bad starts last season.

Spend £5m this week on Murphy, a left winger and a poaching type striker and all will be good again ;)

I'm very disapointed, sounded like we had a lot of decent chances as well.
Saying that last season we were hardly making any chances so that must be encouraging at least a little:icon_sad:

I admire your sense of optimism. :icon_sad:

very deflated, only listened to it on the radio but it sounded just like "same old same old" all over em but cant score, after all the pre season build up and all the hype and expectation its very very dissapointing to start the season like this especially to a side such as blackpool, ok so they are on an 11 game unbeaten run but there only a mid table side at most. a performance like that AT HOME ON THE FIRST GAME OF THE SEASON WITH ALL THE EXPECTATION BEHIND THEM has left me gutted.:icon_cry:

Just had a phone call from Nottingham Fox as he walked over Nelson Mandela Park. Even the ladies in their thong-bikinis did not manage to cheer him up.

i think im gonna get drunk:icon_evil

That's serious. :icon_conf :icon_conf

Am I the only one to come away today optimistic? We hit the bar, hit the post, had some excellent saves. Their shot hit the bar and went in, ours hit the bar and flew out.

It was one of those days, a good performance, certainly look better than last season.

I don't why I ****ing bother going. Wankers, what a complete bunch of c*nts. Simply not good enough

The only difference between last season and this season is that we are now destroying a higher class of player.

Odd glimpses of talent, but really "shite" is the only stand out description for me.

C*nts

I had hoped to have seen the end of any optimism.

Any positive points then!?

I think if you try and forget that the score line was similar to every time we have played shite teams over the previous three seasons then if was ok.

Please though Martin do two things for me - sort us out a left side and get fcuking sorted with the goal keeper pronto. I am distinctly unhappy with both. Hendo looked shite even though he had very little to do, Neilsen looked a awful in the warm ups as well.

We played ok, Clemence looked good as did MDV. Campbell had several chances that with a bit of sharpness he will put away. It was obvoious to see he aint no Elvis.
