You know the forum rules, personal abuse of forum members is not allowed.

If you thought what he posted was 'sick' why didn't you report it instead of resorting to abuse?

The funny thing is, there is still abuse of forum members going on and sometimes by moderators.

Guess it's all a matter of degree as some of it is quite mild, but still........

I would hope that discretion would be used and continue to be used by moderators in 'quite mild' cases. I haven't seen anything recently which would compare with the excesses of the past. The 'Report Post' button is though always there and available for use.

You are the one who found that post offensive, so if you want someone to do something about it you should report it, which brings it to our attention more quickly than just hoping someone sees it.

Abusing the person who posted it doesn't help, it just makes things worse.

I think the mods are happy with the job that they do. The 'Report Post' button is there for the reader's use. If you want to use it, do - if you don't, then don't. But you can not expect that the mods will see everything.
