I actually felt sorry for the BNP bloke, he is a twat yes but he said some decent things but there was hardly anyone in the audience to back him up. I thought he answered a few of the questions well and I think his appearance on t.v will of done his party the world of good. I don't back it however well I back no one as I am to young to vote.

" I back no one as i am too young to vote" On the basis of your other comments, thank God

The final question asked was "Should the Daily Mail have printed the story about Steven Gately"?
All on the panel said it was distasteful but we have a right of free speach in this country so yes.
I though it was a strange answer after they had spent the previous 45 mins having a go at Nick Griffin for things he has said.

Were they having a go at Griffin because they disagreed with him, or because they didn't think he had the right to say what he did?
If the former, I can't see a contradiction.

I suppose it was more in disagreement but surely just because others disagree with what someone says does that mean they shouldn't be allowed on the show, as many wanted.

No, of course not. But you were talking about the others on the panel, who weren't trying to prevent him from appearing.

I wrongly assumed then. I thought they majority in politics didn't want him to appear and that included those on the panel.

Not at all. A few noisy students and layabouts who think it's trendy to sell the Socialist Worker, plus Peter Hain.

Hats off to the BBC.
Giving air time to a candidate and political party with ridiculous policies and absolutely no chance of getting power in the next election. Jack Straw must get what he can.

ah the tried and tested "Two Ronnies" joke format

The site now says:

"After watching the build up to Question Time on TV, we wanted to see how people felt about Nick Griffin, so we put up an application called Slap Nick Griffin.

The experiment has attracted 20 million slaps, which we think is enough, so it has now been taken down."

I wanted to slap him too

Well, it'd be the most bizarre thing I've ever done but... I could fashion a Nick Griffin mask and you can slap me while I wear it :102:

Just slap? Or are you hoping for a bit of tickle as well?
