The more that comes out, the worse the ECB seem to have handled the affair.
They knew what sort of captain and person they would be getting when they appointed Pieterson. They also rushed into appointing Moores without a full and proper selection process and put in place a coach who always appeared unconvincing at international level.
They now have Strauss who looks like the obvious and probably right choice as England captain at this time but it's about time the ECB raised it own game.
