I did to, and you did not see him him being left like a cart horse chasing a striker when play broke up?
Best example of this in my mind is Cov at home first game of the season. But you're spot on, there were lots of opportunities missed by the opposition as a result of our defence being too slow.

Who have him a 3 year contract in the close season?

Sounds like the players are called in tomorrow which is absolutely the essential. Ruud needs to lay the law down double quick.
he has a huge job on his hands, we have CD with pace that can not read games and are caught out of position on a regular basis. This means if he wants a high press and look to win the ball back higher up the pitch we will be exposed.

or we have CD that have no pace but have decent positional awareness but means RVN will need to play a low block and look to counter attack.

interesting times ahead I do not envy him.

Our defensive options are horrendous and here to stay. 3 years for Vestergaard. Hasn't Faes got at least another 2 years of rakes in the face? Okoli?

Reminds of the time we sacked Bodgers and let those two ****wits be in charge of the team for a few games

Not that Dean Smith was the answer, but we pissed away points big time waiting for an appointment

We really are run by hopeless incompetent twats

I'm guessing (I'm hoping) that ruud has insisted that he recruits the players and not rudkin.
I'm also hoping a few get binned off in the transfer window.

This is what ****ed me off today too. Well, that and everything.

We've got a much worse squad than last season. It's shocking the situation we find our selves in.

Bought a brunch of players with little resale value and little quality.

Incredible really. We just bought players to make up numbers yet spent a fair amount.

I didn't watch a thing. Will probably watch Tuesday to see if horse head can at least make us competitive but I highly doubt it.

I was reminded of when David Pleat took over on Xmas Eve and sat in the stands two days later as we stank the place out in the first half against Bournemouth.

He went down to the dressing room at half time and effectively took over and spent the second half in the dugout.

I don't know why RvN didn't do similar today. It's now his team and just sitting there watching us capitulate doesn't suggest to me that he's up for a scrap.

There were a crucial three points on offer today and our manager watched them fly away.

I think football's broken ace. Ruud was probably sat there thinking more about his new housing needs than worrying about 3 points today. He will 'start' tomorrow, and woe betide us if we can't get the players he wants in Jan. It will all be about Ruud this, not about 3 points for Leicester City.
