I hated our style of play under Little but hoofing it up to Sticks or Walsh payed off and turned us around.

If we were to play decent oppsition we always looked vulnerable. We took some hammerings with him as manager. Sheff Weds away league cup, Man City FA cup not to mention the first half of the Newcastle United promotion party fiasco.

if I remember correctly that birmingham game was our first away win and one of few games where we kept a clean sheet.

I remember beating Newcastle Utd at Filbo', or was it 2-2, anyways Draper was incredible that match.

Oh....

The season before we got promoted, did we beat Newcastle at home? I think it was the same year we lost 7-1 at theirs? Same season we beat Millwall 4-1 at home if memory serves?

We beat them 2-1 at home the season we lost there 7-1 in the last league game. 31/10/1992.
Mark Draper didn't join us until the summer of 1994.

We beat Millwall 3-0 that season, we beat them 4-0 the following season.

We've only beaten Millwall 4-1 on one occasion, that was in 2002 when Steve Claridge scored for Millwall in the first minute - to silence, as there were no away fans allowed.

The 7-1 game was the last time we played Newcastle at this level.

Love it. Yes, it was the 2-0 (minus Draper, wonder who I can be thinking of?) and the 4-0 of Millwall. For some reason, those two matches are big ones for me....

Not quite silence. It was one of those rare occasions i can remember when an away team goal getting clapped by City fans. They wanted Claridge to know how much the city fans thought of him, whilst giving the opposite reaction to Wise.

It was silence at first, then when we realised who it was there was applause, followed by a song in his honour.

That was a great moment, I thought the moment of silence before hand added to it.
