Just got in, feckin freezing me bollocks off.

2 nil up and cruising, I thought it was going to be more, Brighton weren't even in with a sniff till they scored. What the hell happened?

Fatty and Cow Herder didn’t look up for the fight in the second half. Might have been better to give Hayles a run. Okay Fryatt scored 2 but he looked lethargic, Brighton were poor in the first half and should have ben punished further.

Wingers looked good at running with the ball tonight but no real end product.

Pearson needs a real think about what he’s doing or I can really see pressure starting to mount on him

I went to the game, we had a good first half, all rosy but then it all got crap.

-Our central midfield dissappeared in the 2nd half

-Martin kept running out of goal too far, Hendo in for Bristol imo

-Pearson needed to have done subs much much sooner, probably at about 55 mins because we were getting tired or something

- Gradel and Dyer were good, felt they didnt cut inside enough and gone for shots

not the end of the world but 2-0 up and to lose it really did suck, seemed the Savage effect of taking him off at half time did them the trick

Just Got In!

What The **** Happened!

At The Station And They Score 2!

Luckily i missed the goals :icon_lol::icon_lol:

Real test of Pearson now, he needs to arrest the slide quickly, 4 games without a victory is a worry but we were always going to have a blip at some point in the season, what concerns me is that we through away a 2 goal lead and conceded 2 in the last 6 minutes. Also our defensive stability seems to have disappeared as well 5 goals conceded in the last 3 games.

IMO we desperately need a central midfielder who is going to become a leader and provide the team with some backbone, similar to the job Billy McKinlay did in the promotion season under Adams.

We also need a striker, somebody who can offer an alternative to Howard and Fryatt, we still seem to lack a pacy powerful option, a player who can act as a battering ram and an outlet to hit teams on the break tin hat time but Akinbiyi is available at Burnley and IMO at this level would be outstanding.

It was about time this happened, we kept the same team for 3 draws when we needed a change, we still have the game in hand so its not end of the world, but we can't afford to drop points its too close at the top

IMO the current run of form coincides with Morrison being dropped, as a few have mentioned he is a good solid defender and I think needs to be brought back in. I would have played him above Kisnorbo aswell.

Who played at CM with King then? Berner?

Where's Kishishev these days? We really need a CM in January, especially seeing as Clemence looks like he won't be back anytime soon.

Only heard the game on the radio so not really qualified to comment on the performance. However, at 0-2 we really have to learn how to close it out. I know that's an easy thing to say from my armchair, but its what good teams at any level too. If we want to be good we have to do these things.

Hopefully, this will shock the beggars in to raising their game.

A reminder of times gone by init?

Just a bit...going by RL's superb commentary (even my Dad passed comment they are an awful commentary team) I thought we were 2-0 up after Fryatt's first.

'It's a goal, it's in, oh no, yes it is, it's not...it's a player in the goal' :icon_roll

As Brauny's mentioned elsewhere the club's on a fine line now - a confident win on Saturday and the support will wither, the novelty will be gone.

And our winless continues as I stay away.....:icon_cry:

If only life was that simple.

We wont go down, but with this current set of misfits, we will be playing in this league come next season.

well said :038::038: im not sure if we are/were getting complacent due to being on an unbeaten run or whether teams have sussed us out and we dont know how to react when they get stuck in or score (actually i know which it is :)) we are desperate for a centre midfielder and a striker theres no competition for places in those areas, maybe now we have found our level in this league, to lead 2-0 and throw it away is shocking, saturday is going to be a hard game

It's a sucker punch to lose 3-2 after being 2-0 up.
I feel that I jinxed it by watching sky sports news when we were two nil up.
I should have left well alone. I stopped watching when it was 2-1 and waited for the league table this morning. When it came up I couldn't understand quite what had happened so checked out the score on text and it said we had lost. I ruined my shower.

I think Saturday's came is the most crucial game this season now because it is IMO almost a must-win. 3 points from 12 is terrible whereas 3 from 15 is utterly hopeless.

One plus point is that we didn't lose too much ground on the other clubs up there.
