It was the physio who was treating me after my cruciate ligament op who told me to go on a bike ride to strengthen the knee. As previously mentioned on here I fell off and dislocated my elbow.
A job creation scheme for the physio I think.

This morning I bent down to pick something up and caught the tip of my thumb nail on the side of the bed and bent half of it back off the nail bed. I thought I'd pass out from the pain.
