WE got a point from a game we didn't deserve anything from, so yes, we should be happy.
Still can't get away from another shite performance.
And don't get me started on the clueless 'leadership' from the captain.

Most of the match we had to spend listening to this utter twat slate and abuse Cort and Hume(and every so often the others) from the first minute of the game til the end of it.
At the top of his voice as well, and I'm sure the players noticed, especially as when Hume scored him and his mates were down at the front of the stand celebrating,then he started shouting summat at Hume and I'm sure Hume shouted summat back at him, he didn't look impressed.

After he got told be a couple of women to shut up, for some reason him and one of his mates decided to start swearing and gesturing at Linda Ginetta and a couple of other women who were sitting near us.

The stuff they were saying to them was out of order.

Spot on BF. It was woeful but the usual Burnley away performance. :icon_cry:
Was the guy who got taken out by the police near you? I was going to complain, why should he get away with missing the rest of the game? :icon_bigg I wonder if the Hume incident was the reason why the players seemed ambivalant towards us at the end of the game.

I saw BF, Ben & Fludie, thought it couldn't get any worse, but then we kicked off. :icon_wink

This confirms my fears that a lot of our fans are mindless idiots who dont think before they open their mouths. Do they not think for one moment that booing Cort on Saturday would not affect the rest of the players? They see that happening and might think they are next!
But then of course they have paid their money and are entitled to boo and jeer.

Maybe he's knackered, alex, and is now past his best - hence why Birmingham got rid

Or maybe he's been playing in fifty different systems, with god knows how many different players (not to mention managers) since the start of the season and doesn't know what the feck is going on

Or maybe someone in the crowd stuck his tongue out at him, and the poor lamb is all upset and can't play properly

I think he might be better playing in the holding role with a more attack minded midfielder alongside him.I really don't get this midfield thing its clear we need at least 2 decent midfielders so wtf aren't we going out and getting someone in on loan instead of playing Full Backs,Centre Halves etc etc in midfield?

I'd judge Clemence when he is played in his proper position which to me is a holding midfielder,no good alongside Weso because they are too similar.We haven't got a decent attacking central midfielder...infact we haven't got a decent attacking midfielder.I know its old hat but Muzzy Izzet has never been replaced

Although for some matches this season Clem and Weso looked like a fantastic pair in midfield...

I listened on the radio and have paid particular attention to posters on here who said they went to the match and both sources confirm it was a dire, dire performance particularly in the first half. Whilst I can only agree that it is encouraging to get a point, in the long run it is performances that get you the results you deserve so if this standard of football is maintained the outlook is grim. The performances have to improve, not just for 'entertainment value' but because in the end it is this that gains you points apart from the odd lucky (and unlucky) game.

I accept that it is too early to expect this from the manager and he has to not only influence the players but restructure the squad which takes time. But I would have expected more improvement than we've currently seen to be honest but lets not overstate this, it is too early.

What is also alarming is when LCFC's so-called 'best' players are having shockers quite regularly. Clearly as everyone is pointing out, this principally means Clemence of whom we expect, and should demand from an experienced player, better. This guy was signed as indisputedly one of the best midfielders in the division - and was the driving force behind B'hams promotion so there is concrete evidence for this. So what's happened? Is this permanent rather than temporary? Thinking back a few years ago when Leicester signed Alan Maybury of all the signings at that time this was the player who was most highly spoken of by their former supporters. Like Clemence, he looked very good in his first few games. But then it quickly changed. The same is happening with Clemence. What happens when they get here - and why? A good midfield player will always show he is a good player, no matter how poor those around him are.

Too similar for me and Kishishev is the same.Not bad players but they need a 'flair' player alongside them IMO.
