If you are stopping over and travelling by train, there is a £13.50 single available on the 2.36pm service from Leicester, arrives at Burnley Manchester Road at 6.58pm. Coming back the following day, there is a £11 single on the 9.28am service from Burnley Manchester Road, arrives at Leicester at 1.04pm.
If you would like a flexible ticket, a saver return is £48
The train station is approx 20 min walk from the station.
Pubs:
There are a few pubs around the ground and in the centre of Burnley. You should have no problems with finding somewhere to have a pint or 2. The away fans enter the stand from the corner of the Lookers Stand and Bob Lord stand. If you walk past the Bob Lord stand there is a large pub on your right hand side, which allows home and away fans.
