Isn't that what we're trying to buy Iheanacho to do?

I have no clue about Iheanacho. He's simply not had enough football to know whether he's ideal for the role or not. I've also only seen him as the furthest forward player for Man City (usually as a late sub) which isn't what is needed here.

If he is a second striker then great. Just seems odd to me that Man City have never played him there.

My preference would be the play Mahrez in that role but we never seem to. It gives him better licence and freedom and it enables us to shape our midfield and defensive cover better. However, basing anything around Mahrez at the moment isn't sensible as he's likely to be gone soon.

Ranieri tried that a couple of times in the title winning season, and he was completely ineffective.

I don't know a huge amount either. I have seen quotes though that his preferred position is as a number 10, behind the main striker. If so, then that would be better.

I don't get this bizzare criticism. How many did Brian Deane score with his feet? Even Tim Cahill scored over half of his goals with his head.

I couldn't give a shit if it comes off his dick, play to his strengths and he scores goals.

He did it regularly in Europe at a bigger club than us.

Deane did not need too, because his great trick was to nod down a huge kick from Ian Walker that Paul Dickov would volley into the net. We do not do that either.
