Buying tickets on the day

I can't understand these people who turn up at the ground to watch the Birch and the rest of the fiasco that calls itself the pre-match. I understand that some people even turn up at away games in time to see the players get off the team coach - what's that all about. ****ing groupies and hangers-on!!

We're called 'mongies' Bob. And of course, we have a better chance of speaking to that nice Mr Stringer :icon_wink

And then when you get there just as the ref blows his whistle to start the game, they have the cheek to moan about your timely arrival and invariably make it difficult for you to get to your seat.

Last time I did that I'm pretty sure the selfish sods made extra trips to the toilet during the game

I was in the Spion Kop in the Northampton game and one thing I noticed is that everyone booed. Can you believe that? They booed a draw!

Booing has been a common occurrence at home games for ages now.

I bought tickets on the day at both games last week.

For Wallsall I got down about 7, ticket office was jammed but sub ticket office was dead (however u get no choice in where u sit and everyone who buys tickets there gets stuck together)

For the cobblers against the cobblers i got down at 12.30, went to the main ticket office. Was very quiet then and no queue. we also got the tickets for a tenner a pop cos my brother said it were his birthday as i was about to part with seventy quid for 3 of us. We shoulda recieved a letter aparently - gotta be worth a blag next time i'm over!
