the twat could do no wrong could he...... what about Fenton then where was the motivation there....:102:

Carrot on a stick? Nah, Cheese Burger more like.

Didn't cost us anything, what have we got to lose. I don't know if he's in our mould but withold judgement till I've seen him play a few times. If he adds an odd goal when it's 0-0 I'll be happy.

I'm encouraged by the fact that he is not the first player that we have had on trial - but he is the first that we have signed after a trial. Presumably something has been seen in him that wasn't present in the others.

Or Welsh going back has freed a bit of cash up:102:

Welsh was only here until Sunday anyway, so there was always going to be that little bit if cash available. Wouldn't surprise me if the money we had been paying Welsh was enough to cover new contracts for Logan, Porter & Cadamateri

No idea, but it just wouldn't surprise me if that was the case.

by your reckoning then welsh was on equivalent to 3 players wages which i doubt he was on much at all and certainly not enough to cover the new contracts recently given out :102:

Welsh would have had a premiership contract I would have thought. How much we were paying towards that, I don't know. But the 3 people who we've just given new contracts to, could equate to a large chunk of what were paying to Welsh / towards his contract. Logan, Porter and Cadamateri will be on much lower wages compared to the likes of Williams, Hughes etc etc

Odds are - he will be here and gone very quickly.

We've seen it all before - early promise, flawed character, drops out of game ....still given our position, RK can't be criticised - he has to try to augment squad without any resources.

Spot on with your last line Redditch.

Let's give the guy a chance (and remember he's not match fit), it is a gamble worth taking.

No. By his reckoning, Welsh was on the equivalent of ONE player's wages plus the sum of the increases in those of another TWO players.

In the end it just boils down to what your opinion is on the Player and i don't think he's any good in much the same way I didn't think Johnson was.Be interested to see Cadamateris career stats.Getting Freebies and Joblesses are what we have come down to now:102:

He maybe a a replacement for Hammond who looks useful but achieves little, have to wait and see but he may turn out to be good foil for Hume.

if I've read this right on Wikipedia - cadamateri stats are:

played 210 goals 22, one goal every 9 and a half games then

and only one club has ever paid money for him - Sheff Utd £50,000

Two goals and an important part played in a third in the last four games - rather a better record than Hume's!

That sounds as though it includes his non-league game with Grays. Total appearances (including Cups) for Prem and Football League clubs number 235, with 26 goals scored.

you should be talking about Fryatt here..... but then again he does not look useful
