Can not really understand some of the negativity on here recently. MA has made a few signings, given no indication if he expects these to be squad or first team players, hasn't spent a lot of money and there's still some weeks to go before the season starts. I'd love to know who these "big name" signings are that some people seem to expect. I don't expect MM to lash out on lots of high price/wage players to try and get promotion next season. When he said promotion in three seasons I think he meant to build a team to get promotion then. At the moment what we need is a bit of experience, a lot of passion and some players who look as if they want to play for the club. I'm reserving judgement until the team have had a chance to settle in and I can see what sort of football MA is trying to play. Meantime I'm looking forward to the start of the season and some football to talk about.

I agree almost completely, except for the bit about building a team to get promotion in 3 seasons time. MM wants to put a team together to get promotion sooner rather than later, he just said that he'd regard it as failure if promotion wasn't achieved in 3 seasons.
