How long before somebody asks how we got Stockport when we supposed to be in the southern half of the draw?

Is the answer more complicated than the Euro 2008 Prediction Competition rules ?

i thought it was north v south????????????

Each northern seeded team gets drawn against a non-seeded northern team.

Each southern seeded team gets drawn against a non-seeded southern team.

Hats were made in more than one town. Stockport are also known as The Hatters.

Well a midweek game in August against the mighty Stockport County I wonder if we will get above 5,000? As no doubt it will not be free to season ticket holders.Unless they go for a cheap ticket price (subject to Stockport's agreement.)

Perhaps we should have a sweep on the attendance and someone on the forum could go and count to make sure the club's not telling porkies

The last time we had a similar fixture was against Macclesfield in the same round of the competition two years - the attendance was 6,298. This time there will be a possibility that Stockport will have Conrad Logan and Leon McSweeney in the side - the extra interest in our 'old boys' might push our attendance to a little over 6,300.

On the other hand a bad result in our first ever third division game the previous weekend might...
