the most exciting draw possible, stockport at home :icon_lol: there'll be all of ten people at that one
8. This time there will be a possibility that Stockport will have Conrad Logan and Leon McSweeney in the side - the extra interest in our 'old boys' might push our attendance to a little over 6,300.
.
Right - thanks for the tip off. I'm going to put that fixture in my diary immediately - I thought I'd seen them all at Leicester: Stan Matthews, Tom Finney, Bobby Charlton , Dennis Law, George Best but oh no I forgot about Conrad Logan & Leon McSweeney.
When are the tickets available Boc - do you know or do I have to keep my eye every hour on the OS.
RF that is not fair. Your current obvious sense of frustration with all things City is well understood. I have never known anything like it in 36 years. :icon_conf
It is not fair to direct your frustration at Logan & McSweeney. There much more deserving targets at City. :icon_wink
The last time we had a similar fixture was against Macclesfield in the same round of the competition two years - the attendance was 6,298. On the other hand a bad result in our first ever third division game the previous weekend might...
Any City fan who buys a ticket just because these people are returning and playing for Stockport really needs to have a look at their lives.
If the tickets are a fiver I might just go.
Oh aye that will really bang the attendance up,Old Ma Logan and Molly McSweeney.

Each northern seeded team gets drawn against a non-seeded northern team.
Each southern seeded team gets drawn against a non-seeded southern team.
Yes, and I was referring to the singular, which is even less than the figure you posted.Did either of you even bother to look at the numbers that I suggested it might "bang the attendance up"? Or did you just come here to moan?

I think people deserve to have a bit of a laff about the situation at the club..and you inadvertently set up an opportunity.
I am looking forward to how the City marketing machine and Bill Anderson can put a positive spin on this fixture although I suppose it deserves a big match billing in comparison to the Johnstone's Paint Substitute for Proper Competitive Fixtures Trophy.
There was nothing inadvertent about it - look at my numbers.
I know.
But it was the bit about the flying pig that is Conrad Logan and the other guy whose name I can't spell which was ripe for a bit of a laugh.
To be honest I shouldn't laugh because the competition provides one of the two opportunities at the later stages for us to play a team which I have actually heard of.....so far the only fixtures that have the slightest interest to me are Leeds home and away. At least on those occasions the match programmes will suggest that we are in the land of the football living.
