Wheres Stephen Pearson ? fancy giving him to us to make up for Wesolowski?

Injured. Was out for most of last season due to a host of injuries so his career has been stop start at Celtic. We're really short on players at the moment though....so NAW you can't have him!

McGeady's quality and should make an even bigger impression this season. He'll light up the World Cup in 2006!

A bit surprised at the gate tonight. First home game i thought there would be nearer 20 thou. If MON was still the Celtic manager i reckon it would have been higher.

sorry is this mcgready scottish? For him to light up the world cup wouldnt you have to actually get there? and lets face it thats not gonna happen is it?

I was very impressed by how we played last night, Douglas looked solid and commanding, the back 4 were excellent, Stearman will have gained a lot from coming up against the likes of Petrov and Hartson.

Midfield was very inventive and also got stuck in and worked very hard off the ball. The front two gave a decent account and were unfortunate as both would have benefitted from playing alongside Connolly. Tiatto would have been off in a league game and he still concerns me, whilst he always gives 110% he does lose his head far too easily, I would make Maybury captain and then he can at least try to control Tiatto's aggression, even Levein was telling him to calm down.

McGeadys 'Irish' and just another one of Celtics latest wonderkids that get hyped up by the old firm loving press in Scotland.

After two seasons at Celtic where they fail to make any real impact and only feature in CIS cup ties they get sold to a Championship team in England and because they come from the old firm the mugs in England pay over the odds for them.

For example -

Phil O'Donnell & Simon Donnelly from Celtic to Sheffield Wednesday.

Mark Burchill from Celtic to Portsmouth

Simon Lynch from Celtic to Preston North End

Now if I could only think of a former Rangers player who was grossly over-hyped whilst playing in the Scotland only to be punted down South for stupid money.
