And I thought I was weird having to wipe my eyes all the time! Now that Dave Henson song has started me off again.

KING POWER !
I’ve got an idea for a new fiction novel – the skeleton of England’s last monarch to die in battle is found buried under an old car park. The remains are exhumed and eventually reburied with honours in the City’s cathedral. The Cathedral is about a mile from the ground of the local football team. At the time the city’s only football club is in serious trouble – hopelessly stranded at the bottom of the league and looking to be deposed from the upper echelons.
Then, something astonishing happens: after more than 500 years of ignominy, the pugnacious spirit of the old king arises to give the inspiration to fight one more battle.
The football club pile on win after win - and fighting to the end – they survive. In the following campaign, the football club goes on to win the Premier League, and they are crowned Champions of England for the first time in their long history.
No - you are right; it could never happen – I should write about something a little less far fetched.

Only four previous PL champions have won the title by a greater margin of points than Leicester this season. Easy!

Video available to preorder from HMV and Amazon. Produced out of house, so it might be in focus with decent audio production.

Dave Bevan has a book (The Unbelievables) on preorder on Amazon and direct through deCoubertin Books. Dave is a member of FT - but don't hold that against him, he's a good stick with a great command of language.

Nice finish to MOTD tonight

I just watched it. Goosebumps again. I want to cry, shout and hug everyone still when I think about what we've achieved this season. I hope I remember this feeling forever.

Here's the link to the MOTD montage

Who won goal of the season in the end? Guess not Vardy since it's not been mentioned?

The Impossible dream is starting on BBC1

Still hasn't actually sunk in. I wonder if it ever will

It sunk in for me tonight funnily enough.Watching the sheep lose & getting stuck in the Championship for another year.Seems like yesterday that was us.Having said that though I'm hoping Sheff Wed absolutely batter Hull in the final.Scenes on the pitch after the game were a disgrace from their inbed hordes.Despite having no love for the sheep,Keogh should have just decked that boss-eyed fat little mongrel who got in his face at the end of the game.I would have.
Plus I don't know how they had the nerve to be giving it the big un after a game in which they were complete shite & almost managed to throw away a tie that was basically settled after the first leg.Tools.
& finally, the Prem doesn't need another season of their endless clogging, dire football & the sight of half empty away ends on MOTD.Or Mrs Brown's tedious whinging in post-match interviews either.

Up the Owls.
