The cheapest 'Single' fares you are seeing are exactly that. So add the 2 fares together and you have your total fare.

There are only a limited number of advance tickets at reduced prices. Once they've all gone it will be more expensive.

There is a chance Megatrain will make some tickets available - they don't have them as far in advance as EMT, but it would be a risk waiting to see as you could end up having to pay the full price.

You also need to remember that cheap advance tickets are valid only on a specific train, so if you miss it you have to pay full price.

Ignore that. It would be a lot cheaper on Megatrain if you want to risk waiting for the tickets to be released. I read your post when it said £60, before you edited it.
