I am listening to 5 Live talking about Capello taking the England job. They have decided that we must not hope to win anything, and should be grateful IF we qualify for the World Cup. Now, TBers are suggesting that a move from Plymouth to Leicester is not a step up, even accepting the current league positions! Unbelievable!!!!

Don't know much about Norris exception his reputation for being a useful midfielder who scores goals.

As for Hayles - it suggests to me that Holloway thinks that we are in such a difficult situation that we need a bit of very short termism to help us get out of trouble.

I have always thought we would have great difficulty in signing anyone decent this January - unless we are prepared to go OTT on fees/wages.

Don't know much about Norris, sound ok though.

Hayles strikes me as the sort of players we will be complaining about later this season or next, like many of the players brought in over the last few seasons, due to a lack of quality and expensive wages.

Me too. Whenever i have seen him play he has been excellent at holding up the ball and playing other people in. i'v also seen some excellent passes to put his strike partner in, so seems to have good vision and passing ability, even if he isn't prolific himself. Although i haven't seen him in a couple of years.

If we cant get a decent attacking central midfielder, he would be a decent option IMO
