Lots of folks on 606 reckon it will be Southampton that fills the third relegation spot!

I do as well. They are on a shocking run of form and have only won once in the league since the 12th of January, compared to our 4 wins. Not sure who that was against mind.......:icon_wink

And their remaining 6 games are all against teams who are 13th or above, whereas we have got home games against the three bottom clubs.

In their last six games they have gained 7 points, the same as we have. If both sides get the same number of points over the next six games, we will finish below them.

Statistics can be twisted to suit any argument

i think it will be either Cov Southampton or Leicester, looking at the run-in we have the best chance to actually stay in the league but the way things are going i think 2-3 years to fighting of relegation to league one looks to end as i think its come to that time when we go down to the 3rd Tier

Full of optimism aren't you Spanks? :icon_lol:

I still think Barnsley could find themselves in trouble, especially if they get through to to the final of the FA Cup!

I have us needing a point against Stoke on the last day of the season to stay up. I pray to god this doesnt turn out to be true.

By the way, out of the next 5 games I had us to Win 2, lose 2 and draw 1. So I was by no means optimistic

I wondered what would happen if a pessimist were to go through this exercise. If my predictions turn out to be correct, we will go into the relegation places next Tuesday evening and stay there until we beat Sheffield Wednsday in the penultimate game of the season on 26th April. Beating them will get us into 20th position - then despite a sound beating at Stoke on the final day, we will escape relegation by a single point.

Barnsley will be going down with Scunthorpe and Colchester

I managed to get us up to 49 points!

the great one has spoken!

He might have done the BBC Predictor-thingee and reported the results - but he still thinks we are going down.
