Latest deal to get more bums on seats is 2 free tickets with 2 pints of Marstons Pedi. Saw this deal in Branagans in Hinckley on sat.

i saw it last night in my local and to be honest i feel really pissed off about it. i dont like to see empty seats at the walkers and have always supported any initiative to fill the grounds be it schools or communitys but 2 tickets for two pints of ******* pedigree that just taking the piss :018:
and take the piss is what the tigers fans in the pub did to me as i payed £400 for the privelege.

I am guessing here, but I would assume Marstons are paying the club something for this promotion.

It's ridiculous, with all of these offers where is the benefit of buying a season ticket?

i posted some time back how students can now purchase tickets for every home match for £5 and sit anywhere in the ground. I'm a student and paid over £400 for my season ticket (purchased before this offer came about). It's a massive kick in the teeth from the club. I e-mailed a fairly detailed letter to the club expressing my concerns and just asked for some sort of explanation. That was 3 weeks ago and i have heard nothing:098:

The only incentive now in buying a season ticket is that you have the same seat for each match. when will the club learn that the season ticket holders are the life blood of the club.
i paid over £300 for mine and i am pretty certain that if i was buying tickets for individual matchs it would work out cheaper and i would not have had to layout the money in May.

one disgruntled season ticket holder.

You have always been able to get student priced season tickets, it's about £180 a year

They are young adult season tickets that are cheaper (up to age of 21). There is no particular student deal. I am 22, so maybe my issue is quite rare but i'm still getting ripped off all the same

If you buy the 2 pints do you have to have the tickets? can you not opt out?

Tell the egg chaser to enjoy two pints and get himself a few tickets as it is the closest he is ever going to get to our ground.

This is ridiculous!! Next they'll be saying "buy 2 ticket for £25 pounds each and get to watch a good team!!"

Its not for every game, it was an incentive ran for attract students. Somebody questioned it at the ticket office before the PNE game. If mentioned it was restricted to students at Leicester/De Mont Uni and they advertised at the relevant places for this ie.student unions.

Somebody who was affected by this scheme told the woman ''I can tell you course number and everything, I just havent got me card on me''.

''What University do you go?''

''I go college for my apprentship (sp?)''

''Well it was restricted to students from in the universities in Leicester''

I'd rather the stadium be empty than give tickets away with rediculous promotions such as this.

I'm sorry Hazzman but i think you are wrong. I am a student a De Montfort. I first saw the offer in the student union shop and queried it. They said it was for every game. That was 6 matches ago and it they are continually for sale when available. I have friends who have got tickets for the next 3 home matches

I went to the ticket office and asked there and they also told me it was for every game. I also know of people who are claiming to be from De Montfort and obtaining the tickets and then on matchday walking straight through without any checks. This is why i'm annoyed. I wouldn't have complained unless I had a genuine valid reason

I e-mailed the club a fair letter and they have not even had the decency to reply.
