Definitely Saturday. Too many Saturdays get disrupted, Tigers, TV, visting thugs from Leeds et.
Xmas shopping can happen Friday night locally for people.
Deffo make it a Fans Fixture and Kids for a Quid! Fill the stadium.

Saturday for me please. As I work near Milton Keynes, it's always a ball ache for me to back for an evening kick-off and a Friday is a fecking nightmare an the M1.

you cant beat socceram, bacon sandwich, pub, football at 3pm. Saturday for me.

I agree that this should be a cheap fans fixture though.

I think more games should be. Its not just the revenue raised from tickets. Its all those hungry youngsters wanting a burger and coke/pepsi. You fill the ground and the beverage areas will take more revenue. A half filled ground with double price tickets will mena that less revenue is taken elsewhere

Blimey, do you think they have thought about that?

A career in Sales and Marketing beckons

errr don't you mean MORE revenue is taken elsewhere??

cos surely if the do cheap prices but get less money from the food/clubshop etc they won't do it...

what i mean is that if the ground is half full they are going to take less revenue elsewhere coz there are less people to spend the money burning a whole in their pockets.

Saturday fixture. A Friday night fixture against crewe mid december does not sound appealing to me. the phrase "Freeze my tits off" springs to mind

and i doubt the quality of the football will distract from the temperature
