The choice of words is interesting - "the last two years have been an incredible experience".

Incredible means "beyond credibility" or "you would not believe it." While people may argue about Sven or Nigel "incredible" is surely the right word for Paulo Sousa's short but memorable reign.

Maybe the plan is to reduce their tax liabilities by registering the club as a charitable trust treating the terminally deluded.

Sousa's reign may have been short but his influence lives on.

Stage 1 of getting shot now they've realised how little they know about running a club.

But, I could be wrong.

No easy solutions for these guys whatever title they want to apply to their ownership.

The club is heaped in liabilities; runs at a losss season on season; almost certainly unsellable; unsuccessful. Players sign for big fees and big wages and then can only be moved on at a loss, except Bamba of course who got himself a nice little deal in the sun too. And all that's just for starters.

It is likely in this case that the parent company and the company that owns Leicester are in the same jurisdiction. Even if this is not that case there are ways around it. I don't think that King Power has any assets in the UK (could be wrong) and i am sure they would have a way of using the operating losses of the club to offset profits from the other parts of the business. It is the same reason that a lot of PLC are owned by companies based in Liechtenstein.
