Re: Colchester OFF

Hmmm. I guess we should be pleased we're not being made to play with a depleted squad, but a few of these could cause plenty of fixture congestion down the line. Plus I was looking forward to this, it was probably going to be my next game.

Yes because our team of international players would leave a real gap for us to fill - is Steve Howard playing up front with Rooney against Andorra again?

I presume that the application to postpone this game was more to do with the wish to avoid four consecutive away games.

and feck the fans who have already paid a fortune for trains etc that weekend

Re: Colchester OFF

You can still have a day out in Colchester, its lovely at this time of year.

for once its not affected me as I forgot to book my train, I know its bothering other folk but its not like our club to worry what fans think.....

I was going to make a week of the match and take the wife down Essex for a week, fortunately for my bank balance she's going to be entertained with a few walks in the woods up here instead

Indeed - and you know my views on that after I lost money twice last season (and that doesn't include the postponed-because-of-the-weather game at Mansfield).

I know that Peter Jones has already had a lot of mail on this subject but I doubt if there will be any change until he gets a lot more. The tickets for the game only went on sale the previous day to the announcement of the postponement; why couldn't the ticket-office have made people aware that there was still a chance that the game would be postponed.

And, of course, people have already lost money on train bookings for the Millwall (home) game because of the change in the kick-off time. Book a unrefundable ticket for the Yeovil (home) game at your peril!
