Mind you, my daughter works for Carlsberg so I should get some cut price lager next week :icon_bigg

Even better is the fact that Willlow lost the money he staked on a Millwall win :081::081::081:

I had forgotten all about this match until this minute. Fantastic result for us! Hopefully that will calm everybody down a little ;-)

I first saw the result on BBC and shit myself:

Millwall 1-0 Colchester

Clive Platt scored the only goal as Colchester dented Millwall's hopes of winning automatic promotion.

Platt headed home a Mark Yeates cross with seven minutes remaining.

Gary Alexander, who later went off with a head injury, went close to a first-half opener for the Lions but his header was saved by Mark Cousins.

The Colchester keeper saved from David Martin after the break while Millwall stopper David Forde denied David Perkins before Platt struck.

Fools.

WOW, great stuff, just got in from an excellent 2-2 non league match atherstone v nuneaton & then this result as well. :038:

Tell you what. For a betting man Colchedter reaching the play-offs has got to be worth a Tenner. I wonder what the odds are. They can take points from Leeds and Posh and the other 4 teams look easy. Before you all laugh they have got to be one of the in-form teams. We just managed a draw at home and they have just beaten Milwall. Anyone know the odds?

It's not going to happen. Even if Colchester win all their games, MK, Scunthorpe or Leeds would have to have relegation form for the rest of the season for Colchester to finish in the top six.
