The passion lasted for the whole of the first minute - but what about the honesty? How honest was it for the ballboys to be told not to retunr the ball to the Norwich players? And who gave that instruction?

Soon changed their ****ing mnds though when we went a goal down though, didn't they? Then the couldn't get the ball back to them quickly enough!!

And if you're going to be passionate, doesn't that mean that you've got to challenge Dion Dublin now and again?

...and always.

I'd constantly challenge him, mostly out of devilment.

Who also gave the instruction to collect all the balls in when we were 2-1 down with 10 minutes to play?

We've been doing that shambles with the multi-balls since Adams was here. Get the ball to our players asap and slow it down to the opposition (supposedly allowing us to get into position).

Also, remove multi balls when winning in 2nd half (so not happened very often). Either Norwich complained about it yesterday in 2nd half so multi ball system was stopped or we instructed it to be stopped before they scored and it took them a while to do it.

I've always disapproved of it despite the fact that a number of other clubs do it too (John Beck started it at Cambridge Utd). All that tends to happen is we wind up the opposition/ref at home and get caught unprepared for quick throw ins from the opposition away from home.

We also have a lot of idiots in our home crowd that don't understand that we play multi-ball and so throw the ball onto the pitch instead of to the ball boys. This delays games regularly (couple of times yesterday) and annoys refs too.

Who'll be fined?

the club mate we had one around a month or so ago for the same thing but i carnt remeber which month it was but it was this year
We won't. We were following FA instructions. If the ref instructed the balls to be collected, we cannot possibly be in trouble.

OK, but in your post above you didn't mention a time bracket

We can, will and should get fined. The problem was not that balls were not available - the problem was that the ball-boys were for quite a long period not providing them to Norwich players but they were providing them to us. I don;t for one moment think that the ballboys decided to do this of their own accord.

But Newts said we would get fined for following the ref's instructions. I wouldn't debate your point

What Newts was saying or meaning to say was that the ref was not happy about the way that the 'spare ball arrangement' was being operated. This led him to order that the spare balls be collected in and it will also mean that we will be fined.

This has happened all season :102: The only unfathomable thing to me was why we took the balls in a 1-2 :102: :102:

Can the referee actually order that? I thought that was one of those things that he could only comment about in his report but should have no influence over while the game was in progress.
