Can the referee actually order that? I thought that was one of those things that he could only comment about in his report but should have no influence over while the game was in progress.

Yes, he can. Quite apart from the specific instructions that referees have been given regard 'multi-ball' use, the Laws of the Game state that the ball may not be changed during the match without the authority of the referee.

The guidelines actually encourage the use of multiple balls in order to spped up the game, but they are equally clear that they must be used fairly and not interfere with play.

all refs are cnuts Dour, you should know that by now

The referee can't be criticised about his handling of the multi ball issue yesterday, excpet that he was perhaps too slow to act against our dishonesty.

He got the penalty right as well.

all refs are cnuts though. One bastard sent me off 30 mins after the game had finished........only a cnut would do that

He did indeed, it happened right infront of us and still people couldn't believe he gave it, it was clear cut IMO.

They should have also had another one when Kisnorbo (I think) was wrestiling one of their players to the ground when he was running towards goal, but I haven't yet seen a replay of this to confirm what I originally thought

And there could have been a third when Kisnorbo put his hands squarely on the front of his opponents shoulders and pushed him out of the way as a high ball came across. All signs that Kisnorbo is starting to struggle with the responsibility he has had whilst McAuley has been absent and in his not-fully-fit return.

Which leads me to ask if anybody knows why McAuley went off on Saturday. He seemed to make his own way to the line pretty well straight after his oggy. Was he just too upset to continue? Is Kisnorbo going to have to struggle along on his own again against Birmingham and perhaps for the rest of the season.

I don't think we can complain about any of the ones in recent games to be fair. It sums up how crap we are that we are quite happy to give goals away like that.

It does seem that McAuley is the stronger of the two and Kisnorbo struggles immensely without him. This is going completely off on a tangent but is Twatto injured?

If I had £50 to spare, I wouldn't be likely to spend it on what must be the most misnamed event of the season. "Least Bad Player of the Year Award" just seem to have the same ring about it, does it?

It's even worse than that swwg. I do have £50 spare and wouldn't even think about going to that joke of a ceremony. They should hold their ****ing hands up and say it would be an insult to accept anything. Wankers

Mind you Melts, just think of the fun you could have in there. £50 could be well spent.
