Yes, but are you talking Bovril in its raw state? If you make a cup of Bovril with the standard one teespoon of Bov + hot water, its thin. There are some serious dissolving issues when you try to add more paste to the made up beverage.

Thickening a gravy is simply a matter of dropping in a few frezze dried granules.

I considered spreading raw Bovril on toast the other day. I was actually spreading some Marmite on and was reminded of the notorious B-O-V's viscosity.
