Me neither. It just never should’ve happened to begin with. I feel bad. We wasted his time and ours.
Promoted beyond his capability. Not his fault.

I was pleasantly surprised to see Aiyawatt at the game yesterday. It was an increasingly rare visit.

Maybe senior players had a word?

WOTS is that several of them weren't having him at all. Nice guy, shite manager.

Lovely fella but. I think that's the last we see of him in the Prem for a long time. Next.

Whoever was responsible for the decision to recruit him should be following him out the door too.

Won't happen obviously

It was supposed to be Potter all along. I don't think they ever had a plan B and knee jerked into appointing Cooper.

Thank goodness he's gone - one of the shortest managerial reigns since Megson, but it was that clear.

And yet another thread immediately stained by these two bickering.

Hope we have some sort of plan in place, otherwise it makes no sense to wait until this game. I still hope for Moyes. But it’s a tricky job to advertise to top candidates now. Looks a little doom and gloom.

I wouldn’t even bother speaking to Potter this time round after he has turned us down a couple of times previously. He can **** off.

Get Moyes drunk and throw a gazillion pounds at him. He’d still be daft to take it.

100%. Potter is pointless - he's shown on several occasions he doesn't fancy it and right now, he's probably the wrong choice anyway.

We need someone to whip this team into shape, put a bit of rigidity into the system and play ugly to grind out results.

We know we don't have the quality, but there's enough there to stay up. Moyes is the only person in my mind with the track record of doing this time and again, he's out there waiting for a call.

Potter or Moyes you'd think.

Either could keep us up but would do it very differently.

I wouldn't go anywhere else. The risk of appointing anyone else is too high.

Absolutely. Properly sick of it and it's killing this forum.

You can clearly see on this thread he poked twice before I responded, but I shouldn’t lower myself to his level.

I’ve put him on ignore again and won’t take it off this time. I’m sure this’ll improve mine and others experience on here.

Wow.... I've just checked the forum and it's all gone bonkers....

Good news. He had to go.

I was on City Fans side of this debate for a while. Up until the Forest game.

In the second half of that match, I saw the obvious and blatant signs that he wasn't in charge of this group at all. He was a manager in name only.

We were then outplayed by an appalling Man Utd side twice, almost lost to a dreadful Ipswich team who had 10 men for a long time and then the abject surrender from minute one yesterday.

Sometimes the signs are so clear that you have to recognise them and change your perspective.

You just cannot put out team after team without any tactical plan or coherent strategy to get a result. He was here for long enough for us to expect better.

He lasted longer than Sousa but was that kind of appointment. Every day he was here was a day we got worse.

I don't bear SC any malice - I initial voted 'until Christmas' in the poll, and losing against ManUtd and Chelsea wasn't a disaster - but it was the nature of it, the meek surrender in those defeats, that made me think that we needed a change sooner. Looking forward to a fresh start.
I voted for sausages and I stand by that.
