Édouard and De Cordova-Reid say hi...our ambitions and options are better now.
Saw this on X earlier.
I’ve no issue with players going out after a defeat. For many, it’s only a job to them. I’d like to think that as young men, they have a balanced life of work and play. Can’t berate some 20 something year old millionaires for spending a Saturday night clubbing.
Definitely Winks and Coady there but I’m not sure how the players have just sort of ****ed off to Copenhagen. I mean, it’s not far, and I’ve been guilty of an impromptu trip to Europe to get hammered for the weekend, however, it just seems odd to happen so randomly. At the start of the lead up to the busy period and after a defeat (I’d assume the manager would “ok” a weekend away).
Unless they knew he’d be sacked in the morning, or Cooper had no authority there.
Or maybe it was pre-authorised for someone’s birthday. The Enzo sign is hilarious. There’s no way there’s this level of disrespect unless Cooper just didn’t have a grasp of the players. Either that or they knew he was leaving and were delighted!!
Not sure about that plumbing analogy, what we've done is rip the tap off, binned it, and no one knows where the stopcock is..... stopping the stopcock was definitely the right thing to do, but it doesn't fit with the analogy. I like And if your eye offends you and causes you to stumble, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to enter life with one eye than to have two eyes, and be thrown into the fire of hell (or the Championship). It doesn't matter. He was doing damage. If you've got a leaking tap you're best to shut it off rather than let it run and flood the house because you haven't got a washer in the toolbox.
I'm glad he's gone.
But away from that...**** me it sounds like we have some right ****s playing for us.
Whinging about aircon & wifi? What are you, ****ing 12 year olds? Get a grip & ****ing grow up. If it's true they can all **** off to Stoke first thing as far as I'm concerned.
As for the thing about being hard to impress, well, I've been singularly unimpressed by most players at this club for a fair while now.
A large number of them have managed to :
a) Get us relegated despite being better equipped to survive than at least half a dozen other clubs.
b) Almost manage to chuck away a massive lead & **** up automatic promotion despite being the best side in a very weak championship
c) Be embarrassingly shite in almost every game this season.
As much as Cooper needed to go, if any of this stuff is actually true it's hard for me to see where this bunch of wankers get off being unimpressed by anyone. They need to massively up their own game before they have any right to that attitude.
Whoever comes in needs to make it their first order of business to point this out to them.
I suppose in that regard RvN would be the best option. A bloke who, as a player, was at a hugely higher level than any of them have ever achieved or likely ever will, except for Vardy.
I suspect Moyes would have no problem dishing out the home truths but whether the bellends would listen is debatable.
Anyway, bring it on. Whoever it is I hope he's a massive **** as that seems to be what we need.
Absolutely agree with your thinking. If part of the reason Coopers gone is because he challenged those ****s, then he didn't challenge them effectively enough. He did it like a supply teacher when you wanted the big bearded ****er, scary head of year. There was a window where we could've have got Sean Dyche, just what we needed before he went to Everton, and kept them up. Having said that, Cooper may have been more of a Captain Bligh, who pissed everyone off and bossed them around but didn't have a ****ing clue.I'm glad he's gone.

I assume it’s beer o’clock in Oz right now?Not sure about that plumbing analogy, what we've done is rip the tap off, binned it, and no one knows where the stopcock is..... stopping the stopcock was definitely the right thing to do, but it doesn't fit with the analogy. Just when you think he couldn't be any more of a ****ing legend! My theory is Vardy had a word.
Yep! And I'm celebrating!I assume it’s beer o’clock in Oz right now?

Probably right I only saw it on the TV feed tbh, he completely ignored SC.He was mad about the ref and linesman from what I very closely observed. Could be wrong.
I really like Simon Jordan, and he sums up my views perfectly here, particularly around the owners/players relationship.
Sounds to me like 3 people talking about us, even though, as they admit, they haven’t seen us play much. When they then get 3 Leicester fans on, who pretty much all say exactly the same thing, they just return to how they see the situation and ignore what they’ve just heard.
