Sometimes commentators on matches like that only have the TV pictures to go from, so if it looked like a genuine goal, followed by replays, they may not have known it was disallowed because they wouldn't have seen play restart.

That's what happened, but I still think it's a bit embarrasing for them. They couldn't see it was a freekick because of the replays. Actually I felt a bit sorry for them so I didn't change channel.

3-2 to Chile against Ecuador in another great game. Amazing comeback from Chile, Eucador had all the chances but let Chile into the game. Brasil-Mexiko next.
