Yes there probaly will be the usual aftermatch Sack Levein debate but i'm one thats wanted to stick up for the guy. But this is no aftermatch depression from me, i really am starting to think like many others that we are heading for real problems. A poor run of form will last for 5-10 games. We've played 24 and we are 4 places off the bottom, the table does not lie at this stage of the season. Looking at the next couple of games i can see no points until the new year

I find it all very very frustrating...I can't even get angry about it all anymore.

You were the first one to suggest CL when we were debating who should take over from MA. Do you regret that now? :icon_conf :icon_eek: :102: :102:

losing the faith a little now. i was also one who has stuck up for levein. its so depressing

To be fair to HF, the Levein appointment was an imaginative move.

Unfortunately, there comes a time when we have to accept that he's not right for this club. I came to the view that it was unlikely that he would achieve much after the first three months of this season ...more patient people have been less willing to contemplate a change.

But for me it's a question of when not if, now.

No,why have you got a Realistic suggestion now or are you just going to moan and groan ? As much as you say it Steven we are not 'Pleatesque'.The football this CL team side is a lot better than a Pleat side ever did,I was down there for every Pleat match at Home and the standard of Football was appauling. Results wise, at the moment, we maybe mirroring LCFC under Pleat but performance wise we are a lot betterthan anyside David Pleat put out at LCFC....IMO.

"Copy and paste" was Levein's thinking with his post-match press conference too I think.

What he said annoyed me a bit, mainly because he's said it all before and nothing changes.
This bit especially annoyed me though:
"You can put the game against Millwall on the big list of matches that we should have taken more points from. It was a home game against a team who are below us in the league table. We should be looking to win those matches - but we didn't.. If we had put our heads down and wilted in this game then I would have cause to be concerned, but we didn't do that. We showed tremendous guts and character again. They got a man sent off and I thought we would go on and win the match, but again it was a case of missed opportunities."

I'm sorry, but the fact that we're bloody 20th in the table, can't beat the bottom place team and keep doing the same over and over again is very much a cause for concern! If I were him I'd be concerned by the fact that yet again, it's taking us to go a man down/a goal behind before we can score!

We are very much a team in trouble now, and there's no disguising that. CL came here with this tough background and we were led to believe he was really tough and hard on his players... we've not really seen that at all. He just makes excuses for them, other than Nissa for some reason

He hasn't got a clue how to sort it out, thats what worries me. Its the same old, same old 'we should have won' blah blah blah. Maybe so Craig but what exactly are you doing to sort it out???

When is enough, enough????

I think the clue may be in his post match press conferences, the very fact that after over a year in charge we are still subjected to the same comments, he has learnt nothing, it would be nice to hear, although we didnt play well we still won, why hasnt Craig managed to sort some of these problems out.

Early on we were scoring but conceding a lot, so we tighten up and became difficult to beat but we couldnt score and so we then open up again, the result goals flying in at both ends and yet again we look frail at the back, IMO this proves Levein is out of his depth and unable to adapt his tactics to find some form of happy medium, for me it is either all or nothing with Levein and neither is working.
