I thought at yesterday we looked average at corners, we didnt seem to have anybody that could cause them a problem! Normally we would have 3/4 men who were good in the air, but now i cant think of anybody :icon_cry:

The corner routines were undoutably shite at the weekend. We have gone from one extreme to the other with corners. We now seem to think we will score by kicking it as high in the air as possible. This is a change from Williams flighted shite to the front post.

Why dont we do something radical Craig and start whipping them in at head height with some pace and cause the opostion defence a little bit of panic.

I am no football manager but it might just we worth a try!?!

To be fair to Williams i think the near post corners were a tactic by Cl that didnt work out. Nobody could accidentally hit it to the front post that many times without a reason!

it was the exact saem against leeds. we are totally ineffective at corners.

trouble is you get excited when your awarded one as you think it should give you an advantage but its such an anti climax when it all fizzles out nothing

that's understandable because we used to have decent crossers in guppy and muzzy, with the big lads like elliott, taggart, and wlash, who posed a real threat in the air.

Smith's corners haven't been bad in recent games IMO.
