Didn't see any of this (joys of being in Tel Aviv) but heard on the radio going to Heathrow that they were going to use an old tram from the Manchester tram system which was being replaced, if that's the case the effects might have been astonishing expensive to make a real tram look like a cornflake box.

The 'special effects' (if you can call it that) were bordering on laughable. Anyone remember watching Thomas The Tank engine as a kid? The effects were just like that. I didn't really get what happened.. I was told a train was going to derail but it seems the bridge exploded before a train even showed up.

I wouldnt normally bother with this shite Macky, but they had hyped up this tram crash so much I had to see what the fuss was about...half an hour of my life I'll never get back.
