1.Everton beat Sunderland, Sunderland 33 points
2.Leicester beat Southampton, Leicester 37 points
3.Leicester lose to Sunderland, Sunderland 36 points, Leicester 37 Points, 3.1(but if we win and 1 and 2 come in we are safe) Sunderland 33 points, Leicester 40 points
4.Arsenal beat Sunderland, Sunderland 36 points, 4.1(if we draw with Sunderland we will be safe Sunderland 34 points, Leicester 38 points, even an Arsenal draw with Sunderland would be fine due to goal differnce, they would have 35 points, we would have 38)
5.Chelsea beat Sunderland, Sunderland 36 points, we are safe regardless if we lost at home to QPR.
We would also be safe if 1,3,4,5 happen, and we draw at home to Southamton and draw with QPR final game of season, Sunderland 36 points, Leicester 36 points, goal difference would keep us up :icon_bigg

And what about the possibility of a ten point deduction? Why hasn't this been factored in?

Shambles.

Not if Sunderland win their other 3 games.

That would be the away games to Everton, Arsenal and Chelsea, that will be an easy nine points for them!

So mathematically they could, but the likelihood is that they won't!

Sunderland looked doomed towards the end of last season, with their last three away games being at Manchester City, Chelsea and Manchester United. They drew the first one and won the other two.

Exactly. Cant count anything out.

i think 1 and 2 will come in, if we then draw with Sunderland, and assuming Arsenal dont lose to Sunderland in midweek, we will be safe before the final game of the season, but if we beat Southampton and Sunderland and Everton dont lose to Sunderland, we will be safe on the Saturday afternoon after playing Sunderland at 5pm due to our superior goal difference :)

Burnley and QPR are almost gone now but just about everyone else is fighting. Any one from five could fill the last slot. Sunderland game especially will be massive. Might be a blessing playing them away as we know their fans aren't the most patient bunch.

worse case, we lose to Southampton, Everton at worse get a point with Sunderland, putting us on 34, Sunderland 34, then Sunderland beat us going to 37, but lose to Arsenal and Chelsea away, we will have to beat QPR who will have nothing to play for on final day to stay up on goal difference both with 37 points, fingers crossed Sunderland dont win at Everton, then i think we will be fine, and even then Hull lose tonight, and to Tottenham and Man Utd but beat Burnley they will be on 37 too, in case Sunderland spring a big surprise, and we then the goal difference will be really close

We're going to win our last 3 games so it's irrelevant what other teams do.
