Trivial question.

A Cov fan says he's been Filbert Street but never seen City play them but someone else. Does anyone know of a time when Cov played a neutral match at Filbert Street?

unless he went to the Leeds V Ipswich FA cup replay match years ago. Did he say it was Covscum playing

Found it out thanks to a Luton fan

Luton Town 3-1 Coventry City League Cup 3rd Round (27th October 1987).

The match was played at Filbert Street as Luton were initially prevented from playing a home league cup tie on their plastic pitch. This ruling was overturned by the time we beat Bradford in the Quarter Final 2-0 on the way to defeating Arsenal 3-2 in the Final.

i went to that match if i remember correctly there wasn't much of a crowd at the game

Over eight thousand - which is more than they would have got at Luton at that time.
