What do people feel the ramifications, if any, will be should we lose this game? I'm not in the country at the minute so have yet to witness a minute of Sousa's reign, but people seem vehemently opposed to his managing of the team. Do you think the board (I'm looking at Milan's itchy trigger finger) will take notice of this? How will it affect the support? Personally, I'd love to see nothing more than us stuff the Cov, but I get the feeling from this message board that we've been sub par?

I never want us to lose a game: I would never want us to lose to Cov. But quite honestly, I wouldn't mind losing this one to more clearly demonstrate to the people that haven't managed to grasp it yet, that we are moving in the wrong direction.

People have taken issue with his management of the team because certain players, who last year played a key role in getting this team into the Championship play-offs, are being side-lined and replaced with random foreigners with no experience of English football.

An obvious example of this is the dropping of Michael Morrison and the replacing of him with Michael Lamey at right-back, who according to those who have seen him play, doesn't really offer much of an improvement.

Furthermore, he doesn't seem to have any intention of taking advantage of the Premiership loan-market, and so instead of bringing in Jay Spearing or James Vaughan-typed players, he'd rather draft in people like Miguel Vitor, Moreno, and Michael Lamey.

Basically, the strengths he inherited from the previous regime have been ignored, and you could almost say he's trying to buy a new team. This, of course, would be understandable if the squad he inherited had finished 5th from bottom last year, but obviously the that's not the case. Anyway, this is just my opinion.

If he hasn't got a visa, how will he be in the country? I'm genuinely confused on this.

people visiting from Japan do not need a Visa to enter the country but those wanting to work while they are here do. what seems strange is that he applied for and was granted a work permit but has no visa, which could have been done virtually at the same time, perhaps an oversight by the club

He needs a work visa I think, I presume he is on a visitors' one at the 'mo.

Thank you. I thought a visa was a visa and didn't realise that there were different types.

I did understand that he had been granted a work permit. It does seem to me that it is odd that our system requires both a work permit and a work visa. Perhaps the LibCons should be having a look at whether there is a duplication of work by different departments here and then considering whether they could save a bit of money which they could then spend on the elderly.

Thanks for the further clarification.

Why? If every member of TB agrees that Sousa is not fit to manage Fosse Under 11 Second Team, it makes no difference. As long as Milan (and presumably, our new owner) think that he is worthy of the job, he continues. :102:

Don't think so.

If the support turns against a manager he usually has to go before too long.

My gut feeling is that Sousa is a dead loss. This may be right or wrong. We shall see over the next couple of months. But I would guess he's close to the trap door already.

Let's try again: when exactly did Marlon King become a Coventry player?

You mean we can still nip in and snap him up? I'd love to see him a City shirt; Pacey, powerful, great with the ladies.....

I especially like this bit -

"Leicester students show their A Level Results to the press......

....and prove that the exams are not to oeasy as first feared

There will be plenty jump on board should we lose on Saturday.

Did you not consider that I might feel that Milan is one of the people who has not yet grasped it?

Morrison Hobbs Vitor Berner

Dyer Moreno King Moussa

Waghorn Howard

Subs: Ikeme, Fryatt, N'Guessan, Kennedy, Wellens, Crncic, Lamey

I am assuming Zayatte has not signed yet. If he has then put him on the bench in place of Lamey.
